Belmont Castle is set in three acres of beautiful gardens, with panaromic views across the Solent and the Downs, it was established as a Residential Care Home in April 1986. The management of Belmont Castle pride them-selves on offering a highly professional care service for the elderly, with a personal touch. We are pleased to accept residents for long term, short term, convalescence, respite and holiday stays.
Residential care should never be regarded as a last resort; it can be a new beginning, which provides comfort and security to enjoy our later years of life. It can eliminate the problems of the day-to-day living and should be a most effective way of overcoming loneliness.
Accommodation
Built by Lord Palmerston for his garrison commander the
home has 36 bedrooms, mostly single rooms, many with en-suite facilities,
with a small selection of twin bedded rooms for those residents who prefer
to share or require a larger room. Our Home has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere
with family visits welcomed at any time. Refreshments are available for
visitors at all times and arrangements can be made for residents to eat
their meals with their guests in private.
